We’re very happy to announce that MomEnough.com has posted information about the book along with an interview they conducted with Betsy and me.
You can find the interview here: http://momenough.com/2014/10/explaining-cancer-to-a-child
It was a very nice discussion, and hit upon many of the themes of the book. I hope you enjoy it.
As we try to jump start some movement of the book into the holidays, I’m hoping you will:
1. Click on the link… listen to the interview
2. Share this link on your Facebook page and/or through email to anyone you think might be interested
You are my best marketing team for this book… so if each of you could share this with 4-5 others in your network it would be extremely helpful.
Thanks… and please let me know what you think of the interview!
Today is a very special day… it’s Betsy’s 9th “second birthday”!! Nine years ago today, Betsy received the bone marrow transplant that saved her life.
It was a long journey but I am so thankful to be able to celebrate this day with her. (These pictures show what a difference nine years can make!)
Betsy, thank you for the love and joy that you bring to our family everyday.
Tobias, thank you for providing hope and a second chance to Betsy and our family. We’re going out for German food tonight in honor of you!
And to all our friends, thank you for all your love and support over the last nine years. It has meant more than you can ever know.
I’m very excited to be appearing at Eat My Words Bookstore in NE Minneapolis this Thursday, July 31 at 7:00.
Please come by the store if you can. I’d love to get a good turnout for this great bookstore.
Hope to see you there!!
I’m very honored to report that Here Comes the Sun received first place in the Autobiography/Memoir category for the Midwest Book Awards!
It was a very fun event last night. I’m posting some images from the evening including our “after party” going out of celebratory ice cream!
Thank you all for your continued support!
I have produced a few short video segments from my first book reading that call out some of the important themes of the book. Here is one of those clips.
Please watch and share this with your friends and family.
I just found out that Here Comes the Sun is a finalist for the Midwest Book Awards in the Autobiography/Memoir category!
The awards are announced in May. I’m feeling very honored and lucky for all the support I’ve had on this effort.
Thank you all for being part of the team!
