Today is a very special day… it’s Betsy’s 9th “second birthday”!! Nine years ago today, Betsy received the bone marrow transplant that saved her life.

It was a long journey but I am so thankful to be able to celebrate this day with her. (These pictures show what a difference nine years can make!)

Betsy, thank you for the love and joy that you bring to our family everyday.

Tobias, thank you for providing hope and a second chance to Betsy and our family. We’re going out for German food tonight in honor of you!

And to all our friends, thank you for all your love and support over the last nine years. It has meant more than you can ever know.
